    Curricular Reform for promoting transformation in learning and teaching in multicultural societies is the aim of the TEMPUS international project DOIT (Development of an International Model for Curricular Reform in Multicultural Education and Cultural Diversity Training).

    The dynamics of promoting transformation through curriculum requires a multi-dimensional approach. In this workshop, members of DOIT's team will:

    • Discuss the process of developing a transformative programme at the university level;
    • Present the challenges of developing evaluation and assessment tools that enable us to understand the impact of this transformative programme;
    • Discuss a concrete case example of DOIT's programme development and implementation in Georgia;
    • Outline what can be gained in developing transformative practices and learning from the DOIT example; and
    • Discuss the possibility of new transformative programmes or collaboration that can develop from this work
